NEW DELHI (03.10.10.): The gigantic main stage ,about 1,200 moving lights, 25 stacks of speakers and about 2,700 shots of fireworks spread across the roof of the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium combined with a stage weighing 500 tones to create a spectacular Opening Ceremony of the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 in the evening at Delhi on 03.10.10..
There are numbers of artists were performed their beautiful cultural programs (i.e. Manipuri Khul dances and Assamese Bihu dances etc.) from North Eastern States of India .
